EDANA MD is an international association representing the nonwovens and related industries, including those used in medical and hygiene applications. It provides a forum for collaboration and advocacy on issues affecting the industry.

While not exclusively a medical device association, EDANA's members produce materials used in a variety of medical devices. These materials must meet relevant regulatory requirements, such as those outlined in ISO 10993 for biocompatibility, depending on their intended use.
