Overview:

We are seeking a Clinical Trial Specialist (or junior Clinical Project Manager / in-house CRA) to support a Phase 3 clinical trial for a medical device company. This individual will play a critical role in site-facing activities, helping to streamline communication and improve operational efficiency across a large, multi-site study.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clinical trial sites, supporting day-to-day communication and issue resolution
  • Assist in managing relationships with 70+ active sites to ensure timely responses and progress
  • Support site onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement efforts
  • Track and follow up on site performance, enrollment, and key study milestones
  • Partner with internal teams and CRO to facilitate smooth information flow between sponsor and sites
  • Assist with review and coordination of site contracts and related documentation
  • Identify and help address operational bottlenecks impacting trial timelines

Qualifications:

  • 3–6 years of clinical research experience (in-house CRA, Clinical Trial Specialist, or similar role)
  • Experience supporting multi-site clinical trials, ideally in Phase 2 or 3
  • Strong understanding of site management and sponsor-site communication
  • Medical device experience preferred but not required
  • Prior CRO and/or sponsor-side experience
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with large, global trials (50+ sites)
  • Exposure to site contracts or site activation processes

Role Scope:

  • This is a support-focused role and will not be responsible for overall trial oversight or CRO management
  • The primary focus is improving site communication, responsiveness, and operational efficiency as the study ramps up
