Data comes from the public EUDAMED interface. No account is required.
What EUDAMED contains, and what it does not
EUDAMED is the European database on medical devices set up under Regulation (EU) 2017/745. Its modules have been released in stages, and use of several modules has been voluntary during the transition, so the database is not yet a complete register of every device on the EU market. Absence from EUDAMED does not by itself mean a device is unregistered.

Why a search can be slow the first time
A name search that has not been run recently can take considerably longer than one that has, because the upstream EUDAMED service answers a cold query far more slowly than a warm one. A repeated search normally returns quickly. A slow first response is expected behaviour, not a failure.
How this relates to CE marking
Registration in EUDAMED and the presence of a notified body certificate are separate things from a valid CE mark. A certificate record shows what a notified body has certified and until when. It does not replace reading the certificate itself or the manufacturer's declaration of conformity.

Is this the official EUDAMED?
No. This page queries the public EUDAMED interface and presents the results. The European Commission remains the source of record.
Why can I not find a device I know is on the EU market?
EUDAMED has been rolled out in stages and registration in several modules has been voluntary during the transition. A device may be lawfully marketed without appearing yet.
What is an SRN?
A Single Registration Number, the identifier EUDAMED assigns to an economic operator such as a manufacturer or an authorised representative.
What is the difference between a Basic UDI-DI and a UDI-DI?
The Basic UDI-DI identifies a group of devices sharing the same intended purpose and design. The UDI-DI identifies a specific device model or packaging configuration.
Does a certificate in EUDAMED mean the device is currently CE marked?
Not on its own. Check the certificate status and expiry, and read the certificate and the declaration of conformity for the definitive position.
